If you’re in down town Seattle it’s probably not too far of a walk to 4th and Seneca where you will find the Seattle Hotel, and beneath it Bernard’s.

Don’t let the sign fool you, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available sparingly, but booze is available until the bartender on duty decides to close the doors.

Inside you can expect darkness, faux-midievil art, wood panelling, wooden benches, and stiff drinks. Bernard's On Seneca

Bernard’s was the first bar I ever really drank at. Wednesday nights, every Wednesday, right after work. I haven’t been there for a few years but I suspect that like always, one thing or another will lead me back.
