Beer Lover

So there I was, sitting at my desk in my home office, working.

Hanging on the wall behind me was a white backdrop that has been up since this past weekend.

I reach for my beer, a Hop Czar Imperial IPA by Bridgeport out of Portland, Oregon. One of the best IPA’s available locally. Upon bringing the bottle to my lips, I notice a passenger.

I took this photo a few hours after sunset, when flies are pretty inactive, but regardless this is the most mellow fly I have ever seen.

I was able to do a double take. Stand up, get out my phone, decide the background was terrible, remember the backdrop, fumble around to plug in a studio light and turn it on, position the beer, and take about eight shots, and even then the fly wouldn’t fly away. Not that I could blame it.

It really is a great beer.

Finally I shook the bottle a bit and he flew off.
