First Photos: Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash Model

The city I work for has several sister cities. The most well known amongst the staff is Hualien, Taiwan. I’m assuming due to the statues they’ve given us of Guan Yin, and the recently situated and awakened Shishi (is that right?), pictured below. All are located in the courtyard of our building.

I imagined these shots would look great through the viewing lens of the Kodak Brownie Hawkeye when I was taking the pictures. I’m less impressed now that I’ve seen the actual photos. Though the camera does work, and the statues are awesome.

Here are other test shots of Guan Yin, and regular shots of the Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash model.

Thank you to the citizens of Hualien, Taiwan for the statues. I’ve seen people leave flowers in the arms of Guan Yin, and watched others come and photograph the Shishi. When the sun is out, which isn’t often here, the courtyard is filled with people meandering or lounging among the statues.
