Holga 60mm 1:8 Lens for Nikon DSLR

From time to time I have wrestled with whether or not I should get a Holga or Lomo camera.

In camera terms, they are pretty inexpensive, but in plastic terms, they seem pretty expensive when expending twice their cost can get one a vintage 120 camera.

For about $20 US a Holga lens can be had with a mount to fit a number of major DSLR makers including Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Sony, as well as non-SLR digital cameras by Olympus, Panasonic, Sony, and Samsung (that was in the manual).

Sure, it’s just a plastic lens that fits the Nikon’s mount, and being such… there was no reason why it shouldn’t work with my 35mm Nikon FG. The lens’ fit on the FG is more precise than on the D50, which has a bit of give. Go figure?

The focusing ring has four settings from .7 m, 2 m , 6 m, and 10 m.
